Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

our adventure begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a friendly guide from Sightseeing Safaris will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. This first day is all about settling in and preparing for the thrilling days ahead. Arusha, nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit and offers a peaceful start to your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and embark on a scenic drive to Central Serengeti. As you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of the highlands. Once you arrive in Central Serengeti, the heart of the park, a game drive will introduce you to its abundant wildlife, including lions, giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species. After a day of adventure, you will arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the evening, where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 3: Full Day in Central Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring Central Serengeti, known for its vast open plains and diverse wildlife. The area is teeming with predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herbivores such as elephants and zebras. The Seronera River Valley is a great place to spot wildlife as it attracts animals year-round. In addition to game drives, this day offers opportunities for photography, with the stunning landscapes providing a perfect backdrop for your safari experience. After an exciting day in the wild, return to your lodge for a restful night.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll depart for North Serengeti, where the landscape changes from open plains to woodlands and riverine areas. The northern part of the park is a major part of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing. This is also a prime location for spotting crocodiles, which lie in wait at the riverbanks. Day 5: Full Day in North Serengeti

Today, you’ll have a full day to explore North Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, you’ll have a chance to witness the incredible wildebeest river crossings, one of nature’s most dramatic events. Even outside of the migration season, North Serengeti remains a hotspot for wildlife sightings, including elephants, hippos, and various bird species. After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters, return to your camp for a relaxing evening under the African skies.

Day 6: North Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After a final game drive in North Serengeti, you will begin your journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you’ll once again pass through Central Serengeti and the rolling highlands of Ngorongoro. Upon arrival at your lodge on the crater rim, you’ll have the evening to relax and take in the stunning views of the crater below. Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its concentration of wildlife and unique ecosystem.

Day 7: Full Day in Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you will descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is home to nearly 25,000 large animals, including lions, elephants, and the rare black rhino. The diverse habitats within the crater, from lakes to forests to open plains, make it a haven for wildlife. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot, surrounded by the crater’s natural beauty. After an action-packed day of game viewing, you’ll return to your lodge on the crater rim for a relaxing evening.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe people, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about their traditional way of life, participate in a hunting or gathering expedition, and gain insight into their unique customs. After this enriching cultural visit, you’ll journey back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon in time for your departure or to extend your stay in Tanzania.
