CLIENT’S AGREEMENTS AND TERMS OF SERVICES

CONTRACT

Thank you for choosing Sightseeing Safaris Tanzania as your trusted travel partner. Just to ensure a smooth, transparent, and enjoyable experience, the following Terms & Conditions outline how our services operate and how agreements between the company and our clients are formed. These guidelines apply to all bookings, payments, cancellations, and interactions related to your safari or tour package. By confirming a reservation with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, which help protect both parties and allow us to deliver a safe, reliable, and memorable safari experience.

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS:

To confirm any safari with us, clients are required to secure their reservation with a 20% deposit of the total safari price. This deposit allows us to confirm accommodations, park entries, and all essential arrangements on your behalf. The remaining 80% balance is payable upon arrival, either in cash or by credit cards, and must be settled before the safari begins. All payments should be made using the approved methods provided by the company, and clients are responsible for any bank or transaction fees incurred.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:

1. Cancellation by the Client;

At Sightseeing Safaris, we understand that plans can change, and we aim to be fair and transparent about cancellations. If you need to cancel your safari, the fees depend on how far in advance the cancellation is made:

  • More than 30 days before departure Minimal fee to cover administrative costs may apply
  • 15–30 days before departure- Moderate cancellation fee applies
  • Less than 15 days before departureHigher cancellation fee applies

While we cannot guarantee a full refund for last-minute cancellations, we always strive to offer flexible alternatives, such as rescheduling your safari to a future date when possible.

2. Cancellation by the Company:

In rare cases, Sightseeing Safaris may need to cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather changes, safety concerns, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide you with either a full refund of the amount paid or the opportunity to reschedule your safari for a future date. Our goal is to ensure your adventure remains safe, memorable, and hassle-free, even if unexpected changes occur.

DOCUMENTATION:

Please review all confirmation documents, including invoices, tickets, and itineraries carefully upon receipt. Notify us immediately of any errors so we can correct them. Unreported inaccuracies within 7-14 days may be difficult to fix, and clients may bear any related costs unless the mistake was on our part. Accurate documentation helps ensure a smooth and unforgettable safari experience.

PRICE CHANGES:

At Sightseeing Safaris, all our safari prices are based on current national park fees, government taxes, and accommodation rates at the time of booking. However, these costs may vary due to factors beyond our control. Government authorities may introduce increases in park entry fees or taxes in any new financial year, and while such changes are not always predictable, any increase will need to be passed on to clients. Similarly, accommodation prices may fluctuate depending on the level of comfort, availability, and season. For this reason, we highly encourage clients to be flexible with potential price adjustments and to secure their bookings early to lock in the current rates. Our goal is to provide a seamless safari experience while ensuring transparency about costs.

PRICING AND ITINERARY CHANGES:

At Sightseeing Safaris, the price of your safari itinerary is based on known costs at the time of issue. We reserve the right to adjust prices before full payment if costs change, including but not limited to park fees, accommodation rates, transportation, fuel, or government taxes. We absorb increases up to 2-5% of the total price, and any additional increase will be passed on to you. If the surcharge exceeds 10% of the total price more than 60 days before your safari, you may cancel and receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before your booking is confirmed, and we will notify you of any such adjustments.

AMMENDMENT BY THE CLIENT:

At Sightseeing Safaris, we understand that plans can sometimes change. If you wish to modify your safari itinerary after making a deposit, we will do our best to accommodate your requested changes, provided we receive written notification. Please note that any amendments are subject to a fee, which will depend on the nature and extent of the changes. We encourage clients to inform us, as early as possible to increase the likelihood of accommodating changes and minimizing additional costs, ensuring your safari remains seamless and enjoyable.

LIABILITY & SAFETY GUIDELINES:

At Sightseeing Safaris, we strive to provide unforgettable wildlife experiences, but please note that sightings of specific animals cannot be guaranteed, as they roam freely in their natural habitats. For your safety and enjoyment, it is essential to follow all instructions provided by your guide, who is trained to navigate the wilderness responsibly. While we take every precaution to ensure a smooth and secure safari, our liability is limited to the services we directly provide. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the adventure with peace of mind.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND DISABILITIES:

At Sightseeing Safaris, your safety and comfort are our top priority. If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition or disability that could affect your safari experience, please inform us before confirming your booking. Providing full details in writing allows us to advise on the suitability of your chosen itinerary and make any necessary arrangements to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure. In rare cases where we feel unable to fully accommodate specific needs, or if we are not informed of relevant conditions at the time of booking, we may need to decline or cancel the booking. Sharing this information helps us tailor your safari experience while keeping everyone safe and comfortable.

COMPLAINTS:

We strive to make every safari experience seamless and memorable. If you encounter any issues or concerns during your trip, please report them immediately to our Customer Services Desk via email: info@sightseeingsafaris.com or our WhatsApp number (+255 627 664 151). Addressing complaints while you are on tour allows us to resolve them promptly. Complaints reported after the safari may be more difficult to investigate or address effectively, so timely communication helps us ensure your adventure remains safe, enjoyable and stress-free.

THE GOVERNING LAW:

All booking terms and agreements with Sightseeing Safaris Tanzania are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. This means that any disputes, interpretations, or matters arising from your safari arrangements will be handled according to Tanzanian law. Our aim is to provide a fair and transparent framework that protects both your rights as a valued client and our responsibilities as your safari provider, ensuring a smooth and secure adventure from start to finish.
