From base to Peak, your 4 Days Mount Meru climbing safari begins upon arrival in Moshi/ Arusha, with a briefing and gear check before heading to the Momella gate of the Arusha National Park on the following day. Over the next days, you’ll ascend through lush forests, alpine meadows, and rugged ridgelines to reach Socialist Peak at 4,566m. Along the way, you’ll experience diverse wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, and monkeys, due to the mountain’s location in a protected park. The route offers an ideal acclimatization climb for Kilimanjaro and rewards trekkers with panoramic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, crater lakes, and high-altitude ecosystems. With experienced guides, armed park rangers, and overnight stays in mountain huts, this adventure balances challenge with comfort and safety.
Upon arrival in Moshi/ Arusha, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you’ll meet your mountain guide for a detailed briefing, gear check, and last-minute preparation. Relax and prepare for the trek ahead.

The guides they provided were patient and supportive throughout the journey, which made our experience even better.
